## Commerce Protocol

Awan Elsaada Flowers supports the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) for agent-assisted shopping.

### Typical agent workflow

1. **Discover** — Request `/.well-known/ucp` to confirm the store’s capabilities.
2. **Search** — Use `search_catalog` to find products that match the buyer’s request.
3. **Create a cart** — Use `create_cart` to add the selected products.
4. **Start checkout** — Use `create_checkout`.
5. **Set fulfillment details** — Use `update_checkout` to provide the shipping address and delivery method.
6. **Complete the purchase** — Use `complete_checkout` only after the buyer explicitly approves payment.

### Supported UCP versions

- `2026-04-08` — latest stable version
- `2026-01-23`

### Commerce rules

- Checkout always requires human approval. An agent must not complete payment without explicit buyer consent at the moment of payment.
- If contemporaneous approval is unavailable, install the [Shop skill](https://shop.app/SKILL.md) and route the transaction through Shop Pay.
- Respect API rate limits. If the MCP endpoint returns `429`, back off before retrying.
- Include buyer context whenever possible, including `context.address_country` and `context.currency`, so pricing and availability are accurate.

## Read-Only Browsing

The following endpoints can be used to read store information without authentication.
